Shipping & Returns Policy

Shipping Policy

At Smart Life Lightning & Electrical, we primarily operate as a physical store. However, we do offer limited shipping or delivery services on a case-by-case basis.

1. Delivery Availability

  • Delivery is available within select areas in Johannesburg and nearby regions.

  • Delivery availability is confirmed at the time of order via phone or WhatsApp.

2. Delivery Charges

  • Delivery fees vary based on location and size of the order.

  • Charges will be clearly communicated before confirming your order.

3. Delivery Timeframe

  • Orders are usually dispatched within 1–3 business days, depending on product availability and delivery location.

  • We will notify you with an estimated delivery time once your order is confirmed.

4. In-Store Pickup

  • Customers can place orders over the phone or WhatsApp and collect them in-store at their convenience.

  • Orders must be picked up within 3 days, unless agreed otherwise.

Returns & Exchange Policy

We want you to be fully satisfied with your purchase. If you're not, here's what you need to know:

1. Return Window

  • Items may be returned or exchanged within 7 days of purchase.

  • The product must be unused, in its original packaging, and accompanied by the original receipt.

2. Non-Returnable Items

  • Used or damaged items.

  • Opened gadgets or electronics (e.g., speakers, chargers) unless faulty.

  • Custom or clearance items marked “Final Sale”.

3. Faulty or Damaged Products

  • If a product is found faulty within 7 days of purchase, we’ll gladly exchange it or provide store credit.

  • For items with a manufacturer's warranty, after 7 days, the warranty process will apply.

4. Refund Method

  • Approved refunds will be issued as store credit or exchanged for another item of equal value.

  • Cash refunds are only provided in special cases and subject to management approval.

5. Proof of Purchase

  • A valid receipt or proof of purchase is required for all returns and exchanges.
